I have a 98 Trans am….it has the ram air hood but it does not have the WS6 badge and the WS6 code is not on the side of the door were the rest of the codes are located…
But I am curious of what kind of intake set up my car has…the air filter is not covered, well it is but thats only when I close the hood…on my hood there is a square that has some foam or some material of that sort that encloses the air intake when the hood is closed. Whish I had a pic to better explain….so my guess is that I have a functional ram air car???????

But can that be even though I don’t have the WS6 option

 

sounds like a k&n filterpck...that is sealed to the hood
