Default Can anyone help

I dont know anything about the numbers on a cam.my brother helped me pick a cam for my car since hes been doing this alot longer than i have and we decided to go with the vindicator from vengeance the specs are 240/244 .608/.596 112+4 I know its a bigger cam, but my question is exactly how big is this cam?

The first two numbers 240/244 are probably the duration. that is the amount of degrees of crankshaft rotation that the valve is open. Normaly this is advertised duration at .050". the second numbers are advertised lift. And the third number is cam centerline. Hope that helps you out.
