Default gauge cluster background

Wondering if anybody has replaced the background on ther gauge cluster on a 01 firebird. My car instrument cluster has teh stock gray cluster. I purchased a gauge cluster off ebay that has the white background. Before i make a mistake i was wondering if anybody has done the swap and what it intells. thanks for any help

First Off Run The Engine Till It Warms Up. Record Guage Readings. Remove Knee Panel. Lower Steering Column. Remove Guage Bezel. Then Remove Cluster. Remove Clear Plastic Face. Use Tool Provided With Guage Inlay Or Use A Fork Remove Needles. Precisely Place Inlay Over O.e. Inlay. If You Do
Not Leave O.e. Inlay The Markings At Night Will Be Fuzzy. Re-install Cluster. Fire Up Motor Till Warm. Re-install Needle To Wear You Recorded.
Then Put Back Clear Plastic Face. Reverse The Rest Of Removal.
