FWIW, you are supposed to charge the A/C (assuming no leaks) with the engine running and A/C set to max, and you are not supposed to charge on the high side, always the low side with the can upside down so it is in a liquid state. Best to have a set of gauges so you do not overfill, but if you have pulled a full vacuum on the system I believe you can get the amount of refrigerant required from the dealer and put that many cans into the system and boom you should have ice cold air. (I've done A/C work several times and my dad is HVAC certified.) Make sure your orifice tube is clean as well.
