not to be a dick but.....

At the very LEAST you will need:

1. Cam of your choice
2. Proper valvesprings to hold the amount of lift on the cam
3. Hardened pushrods - the appropriate length
4. And of course new gaskets, crank bolt, and fluids.

Most people, myself included will also tell you to get:

1. New, ported oil pump
2. New timing chain - Id go with an LS2 chain
3. Valve seals
4. A couple of extra locks, trust me, you will loose atleast a couple
5. And not a necessity, but an ungrade to titanium retainers is always good to keep the valvetrain as light as possible.

Also, some people pull the heads and replace the lifters, especially if the car is higher mileage.

I think i got it all?

thanks for the advice

and as far as the search goes, i don't know if you have tried it lately but it doesn't really work. there are stickies all over about it. whenever i try a search it brings up stuff from other parts of the forum and most of it is from 2003.
