Default just purchased some ngk tr55's

my 02 a4 z28 has reached 76k. i think its time for aplug and wire change. so i decided to go with ngk tr55's and msd wires. i purchased my plugs from a napa store where i live and he acted as if ngk's weren't the right plugs for a z. i tried to tell him about how many people are running them on ls1tech. And he asked WHAT IS LS1TECH???? i told him just give me my plugs so i could go home and ask someone that know's about them. the stock# on the plugs are 3951. Do they need to be gapped or are they pre gapped. i don't want to ask that napa guy nothing elso. also should there be like a washer with them because its not??

They should come pre-gapped, mine did, but always check them before you put them in your car.

Almost anyone that changes there plugs on a LS1 that don't need to run a colder/hotter plug run TR55's.

I would gap them to .055 for your application. And no, they dont have a washer, they utilize a taper seat instead.
