.I dont really know if its noticable, I havent driven the car without it,I dont mean to be an ***, I'm just saying I dont know, but your SS is functional, as well as mine, mine is 01 , I guess you can ask people who added the hood after they bought the car, somebody with a Z28 for instance,I hope this helps!
