540rwhp could be had with less. i make 503 with slipping STOCK clutch and a header leak loosing 2psi. i would make roughly 540 when its fixed. i do mostly ROLL racing so a big rear-end isnt really necessary yet, i hope i wont need one soon.
i've got roughly 6.5k in my STS kit with stock motor, no internals other then cam, injectors, TB and pump with the STS kit and i will see mid 500's with VERY streeable manners and no whine or whistling to give off what i have. but i do have BOOOST written on the plates, so its all good

Having driven several nitrous cars on the street, and indeed streetracing them, I do tend to get irritated with the constantly refilling of the bottle.
Not to mention its expansive. So I vote procharger.
With the procharger you burn through more fuel. With the nitrous you burn through more fuel AND gas, so the price will climb really rapidly.

I say Patriot LS6 Heads, TSP 233/239 cam, Victor JR. intake, Nick Williams TB, spec 3 plus clutch, aluminum flywheel, and a 150 shot. And for 2g's more a Moser 12bolt. 600hp easy. Plus great flow to the number 7 cylinder. For 2/3's of the price of a supercharger.
