Motor Life question
A buddy of mine says it is bad to keep your car running under 1800rpms because the engine has to struggle to keep the car moving. I was wondering if anyone has an input on this I just tired it cut off 1.5mpg on a tank so with gas prices like they are I dont wanna keep doin it unless its extreamly bad for my car if any I know with the 1st to 4th thing it will put my car well under 1000rpms so if it was bad for the car you would think GM wouldnt have done it like that
