Hey guys, guta question,

What's the little electronic box bolted to te end of the driver's side frame horn? It's got two electrical connections going io it and it's attached with 2 bolts and th a 3rd smaller bolt, I thought it was the PCM or something. Just wondering cuz I have an extra now.

The PCM is located one the passenger side, just under the windwhield cowling. Do you have a picture of this box? It could be the AIR pump, not sure w/o a picture.

Well, I can't get pictures for a bit but I figured it wasn't the pcm, I don't see why the cruise control box would be up there, this is low towards the end, just behin the drivers side of the bumper support. Could it be something to do with ABS?

I ask this because, as some may know I am repairing my car after a nasty guardrail accident, I just replaced the airbag system today. But anyways a few days ago a friend and I cut the front drivers corner out of a '95 3.4 camaro and drug it home to use the frame horn for repairing my dubs6, and this box is attached to it, mine has it and all the others i've seen.

im gonna go with cruise control. I think the only thing you can see from the bottom of the car where you are talking about would be the AIR or the cruise box.

I checked with the service manual, and through your desciption, I agree with blue98Z, it being a cruise control module, esp. if it's a box. Should have an electrical connector at the top front with a cable (cruise control cable) coming out of the bottom front of the box (by looking at the service manual). The AIR pump has two hoses plus a connector, which you didn't mention....Hope this gives you a better idea, I just read this over.

Blinker Fluid Reservoir?

It's the A.I.R. Pump. Straight underneath the driver's side headlight door basically.

The cruise box is on the driver's side. If you take out the AIR you can get to it alot easier.

The Cruise Module on my LT1 Car is underneath the Dash near the Steering wheel. With the LS1 Cars it's all programmed into the PCM, so there is no module. What were are looking at here sounds like the AIR crap.

In the service manual it's a separate unit. I don't have cruise, so I'm relying on the service manual for the description.

Even though I don't have cruise, by looking at the service manual, I have to agree unless GM did something different in '00 for some reason....
