broken bolts
Welp, I broke off the bolt head of a 8mm bolt. What is the name of the tool that I can use to back out the rest of the bolt? I think I once saw a drill bit looking thing that digsinto the bolt and helps thread it out.

Purchase some left handed drill bits, I have some MAtco cobalts that are very nice, snapon and others sell them too. Then buy an EZ out, or Bolt extractor set. Make sure you get the square kind of extractors, the ones that look like drill bits don't work worth a crap.

So I just ordered a set, as the lowes down the street only has the drill bit looking ones.

ok, so let me get this right
I need a set of left handed drill bits, so as to drill a starter hole in the 8mm bolt, and use the left handed ones as opposed to normal right handed ones.. so they have a chance to loosen the bolt vs tighten it.
then use the easy out bolt things.
