6.0l ok im new at this so can some1 plz tell me the difference between the 6.0L motors... like the LQ4 and the LQ9, and what would be better to put in my 1995 chevy silverado ext. cab 2wd... any help would be great.... thanks

LQ4 was introduced in 1999, it had cast iron heads. In 2001 the LQ9 was introduced and the LQ4 was upgraded to the new 6.0L 317 heads (which flow like 243 heads, but have a larger chamber). As mentioned the LQ9 is 10.4:1 CR due to the flat top pistons, while the LQ4 has 9.5:1 CR due to the dished pistons.
