I did the LT's first because I couldn't wait to hear the sound of my custom 3" duals with 1 chamber Flows on the car

Oh wait and I got the Hookers for 180 bux had them coated locally by a friend and put them in myself had maybe 400 into the setup. A converter is about a grand all said and done and at the time I was going with the less expensive mods.

Is my chance of braking the stock rear end and tranny with the stall pretty high? I mean can it hold for a while, I drive the car pretty hard eventhough I put like 500 miles a month on it? I like the stall idea but I dont want to have to change tranny, rear etc.Do I need a tune after stall instalation?

I'd say stall first too.

As far as tune goes, prior of my car having stall and gears, and tune I got it looked at to see what A/F it has. Well w/ all the basic bolt ons it have (Long tube headers, true duals, lid and free mods), it was still running stock tune of 11:9 A/F.
I dunno if all cars have this tune (I'm assuming they do), that information of your car running "WILL RUN PIG RICH AFTER LTs" seem to me is far fetch from the truth. The car is already running PIG RICH to begin with already.

yup.. I have stock tunes that I reference off of and all of them have a 11.5-11.9 AFR at WOT STOCK. headers throw off the Fuel trims on top of that. Fuel trims are what the car uses to adjust for changes in the atmosphere when cruising and only cruising. At WOT the computer will add the additional it needed when cruising on top of the 11.4-11.9 AFR for a crazy rich WOT!

How high of a stall were you looking to go? Also will you drive the car around town or is it just for the track? Keep in mind a huge stall will not make the car fun to drive around town.

If its a track car get a stall, but if its not keep the stall small... and do headers at the same time.

Headers are give or take $500 for everything and you and a buddy can install them(its not as hard as it seems.

A vig 3200 is about equal to a yank ss3600 and either are just about as perfect as possible for a street/strip car. Enjoy your new 1.6 60" times

I daily a 3500 stall and it is good for me I wouldn't want to go any higher, drag radials and a tranny cooler are a must. I look like john force when I'm on street tires and floor it and I'm only lid/Catback
