Default Cant do a brake stand?

Hey guys ive owned my z28 for a few months now and dont beat on it. but the one day i tried to do a brake stand and it started off great then the car just died out like if the brakes bauged it out. Now ive never heard of brakes being able to do this and know thats not the problem i was just wondeirng why it wouldnt. It wouldnt evan do it in the water box and the strip either. And the traction control is turned off.

WOW i was bout to say traction control!!! but then u said its turned off, hummm the only thing i can think of is a faulty sensor or something! is the ses light on or does the low trac light turn on at all or does it say asr off when u turn asr off??

It doesnt take much added pressure on the brakes to stop the spinnin. Just be easy as you can on the brakes without movin and itll burn em up.

oh just noticed your an M6 too. that makes it a lil bit tougher to do

did you let go of the gas with the brake still on. clutch and gas up to about 3000 RPM, then clutch out and quickly to brake, don't push brake pedal too hard.

yea well i actully did a power brake the other day for the first time i was surprised that it dident take much of the brake pedal to hold the front tires still so make sure ur not presssin to hard,

If you don't want to use the brakes when you want to stage, you could buy a line lock kit. I know slp has one, all you have to do is press your brakes flip a swich then let go of your brakes the line lock will keep you front brakes set and your back brakes will release. Then just turn and burn. I installed it on my Z28 and now I have to get new tires more often. lol

Dont power brake a 6-speed you will tear your clutch up in no time.
