ill get back to the track and put some better times when i get new tires, and ill see what i can do. but the track and the street are two different worlds, the track is a dig which if you have bald tires is going to suck over doing a 20 roll on the street where my tires dont spin.

your trap speed says how powerfull your car is. I hit 108 with boltons, you just have a healthy stock car.

you ran that at bithlo, didn't you? just so you know, driver mod would probably help a lot, that and some track prep. bithlo sucks for traction. but it certainly makes me feel better about my times there.

The atmospheric conditions play a big part in it too obviously. Thats why a lot of the "factory freaks" come from up north like in New Jersey where the air is perfect and a Bone stock (Literally) F- Body will break into the 12s. My bone stock A4 in decent air ran 13.6 at 106 with the 2.73 rearend. A few others of mine stock with a catback went 8.6 in the 1/8 mile which equates to around a 13.4 in the 1/4. Id say you are pretty much average, should be a little better et wise with having an M6 but u need to get some better tires and get them 60's down. Just show the 10bolt some love!! haha

This thread is hilarious... factory freak that runs 13.6...

Sounds like a shitty run at the track. Get new tires, get better at launching, and shift the hell out of that T56. It will take it as long as you don't grind a gear. You're running stock power and street tires so I wouldn't worry about the 10 bolt not holding up.

Well, I don't think he was using the track number to say it was a factory freak. Rather, it was the street runs with '03 Cobra's and other cars that he shouldn't have beaten or stayed with.

Ultimately, the street can be a driver's race, dependent on who gets the jump, what gear you/they are in, and how good they/you are at driving. Obviously, your track times aren't anything to brag about. They are exactly what the factory F-body's run. The part that is really hurting your times are the lousy 60 foot times. Get those down and you'll be knocking on the 12's with that mile per hour.

Also, for what it's worth, I had a stock 2000 Trans Am, 6-speed. Stone stock, it ran 13.40's @ 106mph. dyno'd 316 horse. With just an SLP lid, Flowmaster catback and modded EGR tube, it ran a best of 13.06@107mph. My 2001, stone stock, ran 13.002@109. '01 & '02's are faster stock. Also, see the GM High Tech from 2002 where they tested a stock '02 SS Camaro and ran high 12's.
