I wish I knew how to do it because I would tell ya how, but sadly I am in the same boat as you, I have no clue about wiring up things like that, well In my old 64 chevy pick up I did. Just connected the tach to the back of the distributor and it was done.

If you contact the manufacturer they can email you a wiring diagram. It will tell you where all the wires go. I already told you where the tach signal is to go to on the pcm. At least I think it was you. This will be easier than you think once you get the diagram. This color goes here, that color goes there. For the light wire just find a switched source wire by the driver door fuse box and,. (Get a tester and find a wire that goes to a gauge fuse. By gauge fuse I mean gauge cluster light fuse, that is hot when the ignition is turned on or "switched" on and follow it back a ways and solder your wire in there. Only the tach light though. I think the shift light might need a stronger source like the large pink wire by the steering column that is also switched. Its a LARGE pink wire right under the steering column cant miss it. Hey you better call them tomorrow bud or I will start to harass you. Just kidding.

Doesn't autometer make the monster tach? I would Google whoever makes the monster tach then contact them. As far as wiring on your car goes I would try searching some more on here I've come up with some good stuff to print every time I needed it. You can run everything off the large pink switched wire I told you about under the steering column its a big source for such a small thing. Just don't run the gauge lights off of it.

so I can run the tach and shift light off the pink wire just not the tach light...right? Also, The pink wire I think you're referring to seemingly comes from the gauge cluster and goes to some kind of relay box. From there it goes thru the firewall. Should I soldier the wires before or after the relay box(approx. 3"by 2")? Could I also just wire nut the connection and put electrical tape around it?

I would solder it right under the steering column where its most accessible and before the relay. It would be the easiest. Its a large wire and can carry a load. The tach light I think is too small for such a large amp load, the pink wire would blow the light gauge light its too much amps. It needs a rating in the Milli amp range. Im pathetic at electronics its my weak point. At least I think this is correct. So it needs the gauge fuse in the door panel, its in the Milli amp range. that's what I used for my gauge lights. Four of them, and they have yet to blow the fuse. The pink wire is the hot wire for all my interior stuff. You don't have to solder it but its the surest way to have a connection that you know will not come undone. If you solder get a good solder gun. Make sure you get solder that contains silver for electronics its at ace hardware, it will stick well. The other solder with lead and tin is ****. Make sure you have the right pink wire its sort of big, its been a long time since I was under there but it seems like it was like 3/16 or larger? maybe someone else can chime in on this??? I cant remember the exact size. If its large and switched and pink and under the steering column its the right one. Boone.

Red/12v
- Attach to a power source wire or you can run it to your battery
Black/Ground
- Attach this to the body of your car, make sure it has a good metal contact
White/Lights
- Attach to ur lights, It will light up your tach. I found it easy to tap into the light switch, that way your tach light comes on with the lights switch.
Green/Signal
- This wire should get connected to pin number 10 on your pcm's connector which is a white wire and it's on the connector closest to your firewall. It will have numbers underneath just look for number 10 and make sure its white.
