Default Pin on vs Bolt on

Why are pin on hoods so much cheaper then bolt on hoods? What is the difference other then how they are held on?

Sorry for all of the threads lately.

what he said.. plus bolt on means it replaces the stock hood bolt for bolt.

A pin on hood you will have to fab up mounts because the hood latch and hinges will no longer be used.

the ease to make them seems to be a good reason for the price difference and most people go for the bolt on so the rules of marketing also
