newbie looking for some advice on LSX potential power
Alright, I am brand new to this forum and basically what I am looking for is some HP figures I can get out of an LSX. I have a '75 corvette with the stock engine producing a whopping 165hp. I plan on swapping this out with an LS1/2/6. However, my original idea was to twin turbo it for some crazy power, but lately, I have been considering N/A instead (due to packaging constraints). I would like this engine to be streetable, but I don't mind it being a little on the wild side.
Long story short, what can I expect from an LS1/2/6 N/A? Is 500+hp reasonable or somewhat difficult? If it is reasonable, what would I have to do to obtain such power?

There are plenty of resources on this site. All kinds of members on here over 400 at the wheels very easily. My mods are in my sig and i'm at 405 at the back wheels. Heads/cam cars are all pushing 500 at the back wheels with decently mild setups. An LS1 with LS6 intake, boltons and a decent cam will put you at 400 hp. So I do consider it fairly simple to get a LOT of power out of these motors. 500+ will take a little more work but still fairly easy to accomplish.

ls1 with the extra cubes might be a little easier... ls6 ahs the cam and ls6 heads factory. ls1, will need a little more work. 500hp on an stock cube ls1 will be a pretty crazy setup but is do able. With a power adder its easy though. ported ls6 heads/decent cam, bolt ons tuned, should put 450hp at the wheels in a m6 car without a problem. A4 might be a little harder.
good luck, Chris

Alright, thanks guys. I feel alot better about things. I still really want to do the TT setup, but I don't feel that I will be trapped with a 'low' hp engine in my car. Thanks again guys.
