Default miles too high?
i am looking for a new daily driver, and i found a bone stock 6 speed 99 T/A for $5500. i know the price is very good, but the 140k miles is worrying me, i will be driving the car about 70-100 miles daily. what do ya'll think?

Eh, I dunno that is pretty high. Up to 100 miles a day, I wouldn't buy it. I'd get a prius.

If it has been maintained then it should be fine. if you dont much about working on cars then have it checked out by a mechanic. Some places do checks for free.

It definitly depends on how well it was maintained. I would have it checked out first, it never hurts to make sure.

i got a 99 TA with 140+ on the clock. i drive from florida to cali and back 2x a year. no probs yet. i keep it maintained

driving 100mi a day. this sounds like a perfect car assuming the only reason it's cheap is the mileage. if it's a good car put another 100,000mi on it and dump it for $1500.
