WOT= Wide Open Throttle

I have a cam and full-boltons for refence and an M6. I'm thinking of swapping an LS6 for LS1 intake myself. I think the power gain would be about the same with the all the mods on my car... around 20whp or so.
i drive 60 miles a day to and from work . . . and it's all highway. 65 on the freeway helps you get good gas mileage. but even when it's in town driving i still get over 300 to the tank. oh, plus when you keep your rpm's low and slow starts and slow stops those 2 things help out

Must be nice to drive 120 miles a day back and forth from work with no traffic. If l lived that far from my job I would be stopin and goin for at least 40 miles of the 60 here in San Diego.

Pre LS6 intake, my 98 M6 put down 338rwhp and 366 rwtq. that was with the SAE at .96. that was with LTs, ORY, magnaflow catback, UD pulley, ported TB, etc etc

after ls6 intake 342/362 no tune SAE was .95 this time and i had the cut out open

It was dyno'd at TTPerformance in north jerzy

Do you think those numbers would improve with the tune?

Reason I'm asking is because I need to get my car retuned for CA emissions but I don't want to do it put the LS6 intake on and then retune the car again, plus I am just generally curious because that did not seem like that big of a gain.

most definately, by how much? im not sure on that one. normal gains i hear of are .1-.2 and 1-2 mph in the 1/4 for a bolt on car.

although the numbers werent what i was expecting at the dyno, i could definately notice the difference in acceleration
