Angry Ripped off...

OK, my list of mods are in my signature. That being said, with a good dynotune, how much horsepower and torque should i be working with? My wife went to Virginia Speed in Virginia Beach, VA to get my car dynotuned as a gift to me when i get back from being deployed overseas and they told her that they actually tuned my car with 2 pulls with their hp software. Now seeing as how she knows less about cars than I do, I didn't get mad at her but instead asked for the dyno chart to see what they did. They are attempting to convince me that I am merely pulling 327hp and 338torque. I know for a fact that is wrong, but I would like everyone's input as to where my car REALLY should be with the modifications i have done so far to my car. Thanks ahead of time.

thats sounds right on to me... having a lid and full exhaust you are putting out the same +-5HP as me.

At most you will be around 20 hp higher than stock... the gears will just get you there faster... lol

The doesn't seem too far off, I have seen some cars hit 340's hp and 350's TQ with your mods, Was it a Dyno jet or Mustang Dyno that could affect number a bit but you don't seem too far off it might still be running rich from the header install, which if corrected could net you another 5-10hp......

Lid, headers, catback = about your RWHP.

Oh wait. I just noticed you have a K&N air filter. Nevermind. You should be pushing 400 RWHP. If you had a ram air hood you'd be at 450.

Sounds good to me. A4 or M6? Mine made right at 300rwhp/342torque with a catback and lid way back when. You dont have a very big mod list, full exhaust and a lid dont make crazy numbers.
Same day my friends '99 Formula M6 with just a lid/catback made 327rwhp/340torque

I have seen an '01 M6 car make 350rwhp with a lid, headers, ORY, catback & tuning. It's not impossibile. But that car had stock gears. Your gears will cost you some power, as will the cats. If you had stock gears and no cats you'd probably make 10-15rwhp more.

I'm guessing you have an A4.

With stock gears and an A4 that would prolly make like 335-338ish. minus some power for the new gears... you right where you are supposed to me remember, you don't always need more horsepower to go faster.

Take it easy on the ol' lady, she'll be hurt if you let on that she got ripped off. Act as happy as if she let you do that one dirty thing she only let's you do every few months...

On the bright side, the gears took some away from your total, IMO.

It sounds a little low to me.

My buddy just had his '02 Z28 M6 tuned. All he has is free mods, SLP lid, and Pacesetter LTs. The LTs hit the catless y-pipe and just dump. He made 360+/370+ after the full dynotune.

Maybe his car is special. Dunno.
