4l60es are not problematic if you have the right people build it.
im pushing 550rwhp thru a 3800 stall on a big camed car with a 125shot and it loves 1/8th mile burnouts.

i'm at 94,xxx and it's barely broken in
... just finished full bolt-ons and a nice large stall. next up is a cam possibly head and cam install and the durability of the motor is the last thing i'm worrying about

107K on mine, mods are in my sig but car actually runs better now than it did when i bought it 2 1/2 years ago with only 54K on it. i have had to replace the water pump and rear main seal though in that time (both at the same time) just got my rear serviced in the last 8 months and they said it was immaculate made me happy! take care of your LS1 and it'll go as long as you want it to

Just turned 80k and it is driving better than at 58k when I bought it. I''ve been driving it a little harder as of late don't know why but it feels better for some reason. This is my daily driver and I have been known to drive with 6 inches of snow on the ground in a lowered car no less.
