Cutout VS SLP Loudmouth
#27
If you plan on doing a lot of mods...might as well go with a cutout if you have an itch to get something done. I have a LM1 and an SLP lid and that's where I stopped as far as performance upgrades. I didn't plan on headers and cam and intake mani and all the other good stuff beyond that. It gets expensive. I am happy with what I have. The loudmouth 1 is just right since I don't plan on messing with any more exhaust upgrades. Figure out what your long term goals are and then purchase accordingly.
Texas Speed has a good catback system like the LM1 but for a bit cheaper. If you aren't in california and your emissions laws allow for it...just go with a tru dual with a nice set of bullet mufflers and no cats. Sweet Newborn Baby Jesus does that sound nice!

I've got the LM1 system sitting in my room about to go on in a few days, and it has a cutout welded where the resonator would go, I'll post a vid with it installed (cutout open and closed) vs my stock exhaust.

i like cutouts. more then once i've had a cop either right beside me or behind me at a light and with the flip of a switch i went from loud to stock. Plus cutouts sound awsome opened up!
