Default just got first ls1 friday

I jsut bought my first ls1, i got a 01 camaro Z28 its black a4 with t-tops and 65000 miles. Not bad at all......you got a good all around set up there. The only thing I see that would really wake it up would be a stall & gears jmo

nice welcome aboard, Make sure to read the stickies and learn and ask questions if you plan on modding it. there are a great group of guys on here.

ya thanks you guys, i was planning first off a set of 3.73's... but after that im not to sure what way i want 2 go, and a tune i think it needs it.

i wouldnt put gears into a a4 but thats just me id recomend going for a stall instead

ya ill keep the stall in mind, but off the top of your guys head what kind of dyno numbers do u think this car puts down? with the mods it does have, I have no idea and am just wondering

do you know what kind of gains i would see from a tune? im not sure where you guys r from but if you know of a good shop to go to in michigan?

Gains would be minimal. A tune would give you a little additional power but if you plan on a cam or heads/cam in the future I would hold off unless there is an SES light that you need tuned out to pass emissions. If you go with a stall though id def get a tune and have the shift points corrected. Stenod is in Michigan and Livernois is also in Michigan. Im sure there are more but I know Stenod tunes and does an excellent job. Both are sponsors so id check with them first.

thanks, i have headers but im not sure about gettin a stall or cam. but ill look into those shops.

New drivers side window motor

Anyways, seems like a nice car. Have fun, and don't let people give you **** for having an auto. Most are just jealous that you can actually shift!
