If you plan on modding your car a lot you should think about getting a stronger rear end instead of gears. The higher the gear ratio the easier it is to break that weak 10-bolt. Just get 4.11's in with the new rear end, it will save you money in the long run if you plan on going all out on your car.

Plus whoever sold you the performance chip should give you your money back.

i have 4.10s and they are one of the best mods i have done. They take a little getting used to at first. I was running 90mph at 2k in 6th gear and now i run 75 at 2k in sixth gear. I got the motive gears and they dont make any noise. I think my gears were like 170 plus the install kit which was like 70 and the guy only charged me 100 bucks in labor. Not a bad deal. Remember to get your speedo reprogramed. Hope this give you a little more detail!!!!

Thanks thats what im looking for. As far as going all out...doubtful. Ill probably get exhuast, cam, and other bolt ons. it shouldnt hurt my car to get gears with that should it??? And what is wrong with the performance chip again??
Thanks ,
Jake

Full bolt ons and cam is what I have on my car and I would feel like I was riding in a time bomb if I still had the 10-bolt w/ 4.11s. But if you don't think you will be too rough on it and don't plan on ever going to the track with slicks then it might be ok...

There isn't a performance chip for your car. That's what the connector under your dash is for. To tune your car with a computer.

Good luck with your car regardless of what you decide.

Terre Huate is about 50-60 min west of Indy off of I-70. Or about 20 min from the Illinois border.
