Default Vats.....security light???

My security light comes on and i was going to do the bypass on it, and i need a bypass reisistor for it, what does it look like?

they got them on ebay, a self learning one that works with all vats and passlock 1 and 2. i gave fourty for mine, its a DEI brand. it will show you exactly how to hook it up and can be removed anytime in the future. there are also others with a varible resister that you turn a **** and it matches the resistance in your key. can be used with any car. or you could find out your key's value and go to radio shack and do the trial and hope it works thing. either will do.

the writeup i read you had to piece a bunch of resistors together to get the resistance of the key. i have this problem and i still havent fixed it yet. i think im going to look into 01ssred's idea and check ebay

Easiest and cheapest way to bypass it is to just measure the resistance value of the key and get a resistor to match.
