At least a 3200 if it's a Vig or ss3600+ if you go yank, If you go lower you will regret it...
Ask around the local Florida forum and see if someone will take you/let you drive the car and experience the stall in person it.
The first stalled car I drove was a stock 99 Z28 with a lid and a Yank PT4400, Needless to say I left with a HOLY ****
look on my face. It whooped my cars *** I had a lid headers, true duals, pp throttle body, LS6 intake,tune, etc. I had an easy 25-35 RWHP over him and he had me beat badly. His gas mileage was **** but hey thats the tradeoff of a 4400 converter.
I ended up wth a 3600 Vig which was plenty for me(4000 stall in reality) but I still kinda wish that PT4400 was in my car
