Bolt ons
For a light bolt on car, I recommend a Nitto drag radial as a "daily driver" tire.
They hook nicely on the street, they are relatively inexpensive, and they are
decent in the rain if you happen to get caught in a downpour. Nittos are the
only drag radial that I'd feel comfortable with to drive in the rain. Granted, you
still need to be cautious and watch your speed.
You should be able to cut 1.75 - 1.80 60's no problem on 275/40/17's (I believe
that's the size).
Intake Manifold
It's really dependent upon your setup, but if you're looking for an upgrade
to a light bolt on car the LS6 manifold is pretty solid. You could always look
into a FAST intake as well.
Headers
You said which headers are the "best". In that case, I recommend Kooks.
If you're looking for bang for the buck, take a look at Pacesetters.
Throttle Body
Just port & polish the stock throttle body. I recommend removing the MAF
screen as well (others will tell you different).

As for mods. Depending on your budget, which would help to know a little. But you can do a catback,I have SLP Loudmouth 2 and love it, some people say its a little too loud. I also have an SLP Lid (a lid is a lid is a lid). All in all that was $500 total and was WELL worth it to me. The car sounds good and pulls a tad bit better. As for an intake manifold, try and find a used LS6 intake, best bang for the buck, but beware if you cant install it youd have to pay some good $$$ for the work. The throttle body, try and find a ported stocker which should run about $90-150 on the boards here. Tires, the nittos are a good choice. Personally I prefer the Mickey Thompson ET Streets. The wider the better of course.

It's easiest to remove the stock throttle body yourself and mail it out
to a qualified shop. That however means you'll have some downtime
with your car. Another option would be to buy a good used ported & polished
TB from a member here at LS1Tech.

Get on www.FuelSlut.net (Central FL car club) you can find some good local shops as well as another source for cheap parts.
The 01 and 02 Camaros and firebirds had the LS6 intake from the factory which will handle any boltons you throw at it, leave it alone and spend the 900 bucks that a FAST costs elsewhere. Unfortuatly I live in California and have smog legal headers but I have heard pacesetters are good bang-for-the-buck but when I build a new motor I am going with Kooks.The Nitto drags are great, I have 315/35/17s on the rear of my WS6( use an adjustable panhard rod and "roll" the inner quarters and they fit great) and they are awesome and even get good traction in the rain(well, about as good as you can expect).The SLP lid is a good choice, fast toys makes a 90mm but thats a bit overkill for a bolt-on.I am still using my stock TB but trust the uys who have already done the mods.As for a Tune, dont waste your money on Hypertech or something, get a Dialblosport and take it to a dyno. Above all...dont believe what you hear in mags and stuff, before you buy post a thread and ask opinions of parts, these guys on here know their stuff and yo will find someone that has had experiance with any parts you can find.
if it is i would start with a nice catback exhaust system, then headers/ypipe and last but not least a stall. Check out the FS section in the classifieds and you can find some nice deals. Pacesetters are a great deal for the money, but if at all possible i would try to find some stainless ones! Not sure if you have any plans of a cam, but if you do be sure to take that into consideration when you are choosing what sized stall you want.
As far as FAST intakes they're pretty much going to gain you about 5whp over an LS6 on a stock displacement motor. Now if you build a 408 or other stroker motor thats where this baby shines, gained 27whp and 31wtq over a LS6 on a built 408.
