Default Cam help

Hey all, alright well I just got my pacesetter headers and ORY and a SLP lid. Now i want a cam. Im looking for a moderately large cam. My goal is just over 400 rwhp with just the mods listed. It needs to be streetable but ive read that almost every cam can be made streetable by a good tune, is this true? anyways what cam does everyone suggest? im not very knowledgeable about cams, ive read the stickys in the internal engine section so ive got basic knowledge but the amount of cams available is overwhelming. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up Cam

We have a great cam for your setup. It is our XHP 235 239 .576 .586 114 LSA It has a 2800-6500 RPM Power Band with peak power coming in at around 6400rpm. This is a great performance camshaft with a smooth idle. Custom tuning will be required. If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to call. Thanks Alan

my ms3 and heads put me well over 400. I like it, and still use it as a daily drive as well. Get a lot of looks too. Just make sure you get a good tune after install. I ran it for a month without one, totally different car aftwards. Good luck man. I dont suggest the ms4 for daily driver. but that all depends on what you want.
