Default exhaust question

what is the difference between the 98-99 catless (or O/R) y pipe for manifolds and the 00-02 catless (or O/r) y pipe for manifolds? Just curoius, Would the catless (O/R) Y pipe that bolts up to the stock manifolds on a 98-99 work on a 00-02??

The exhaust manifolds are entirely different on the '98/'99 cars.

Driver's side cat is in the same spot from '98-'02 (yet the manifold is still different, and the cat has a different part number I beleive), but on the passneger side it's in a totally different location (further down stream).
