Angry Disappointing stroker down on power

So I'm new to LS1's and new to the forum. I bought my first LS1 car back in August of '07. It was cammed and putting down about 370rwhp when I bought it. Early October it ate a rod bearing so I decided to go ahead and stroke it and here is a general overview:

Eagle Competition 383 rotating assembley, H-beam rods, 4340 crank, Arias forged pistons and 11:1cr
Futral Motorsposrts F13 cam (already in the car when I bought it) and supporting valvetrain
Stock heads with fair porting and fresh valve job but the valve sizes are stock
LS6 intake, ported TB, 46lb injectors, long tubes, pretty much all the bolt ons

Anyway I just got the car back from MTI Racing in Marietta, GA where I had it tuned, and the car put down 400rwhp and 420rwtq. What gives? That seems waaaay low for an 11:1 stroker. I mean I've got a ton of money in this motor and those numbers are very disappointing. I mean I know I'm new to owning an LS1 but I've always been a fan of the motors and I've seen the power they can put down. Can anyone tell me why my numbers are so low?

If you can post a dyno, do that.
Your heads may not be letting in the air you need

your heads are probly chocking the motor the most, also have you done any other fuel system upgrades besides just injectors?

I'd say heads and LS6 intake are stalling the intake charge. It could also be the the tune, but that seems extreme. A good 383 combo will put down 470+rwhp with 460+rwtq.

Better heads,90 Intake,90 TB, a austin ram air kit and I bet that will make a world of diffrence 50 more rwhp for shure anyway.
And if it is a mustang Dyno then mustang dynos are always upsetting haha after my cam stall and gears only dynoed at 340 haha but it ran a 12.4 the first run and almost hit 11's with a 12.005 with those #'s so the track speeks for itsself.

My understanding is that the trick flows would be a good head to match your set up. Also as stated above a fast 90 and 90 TB would also yield more power on the dyno.

What year is the car? Auto or 6 speed? Do you know what the casting number is on the heads?
Ported stock throttle body? Thats probably killin it.

man, look at the immediate reccomendation of the Trick Flows and ETs....lol. Best is truely a flawed question, because many factors apply... price, performance goals, backward compatibillity, etc.

He asked for good heads for a 383. That's what they are, plain and simple.

yeah patriot heads are really pretty good heads but for the money go Trick Flow they are making great heads right now. Also look at the different heads they offer, many of them make some really good ported ls6 heads (243) castings. What are your cam specs.

Stroking and engine by itself doesn't really raise horsepower a whole lot. It raises torque a lot more. It also moves the power curve to earlier in the rpm range. You need a whole new top end if you want to put down some great numbers.
