Default Looking at buying, need advice.

Hi all, I'm looking into buying a myself a Firebird. Specifically this one:
1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula Coupe 2D

Now as you can see, it has a decent amount of miles on it, and I'd like to know if it would be unwise to buy a Firebird with so many miles? I'd also like to know all the pro's and cons of this early LS1 car, if there are any. Appreciate any and all help, and look forward to being an owner of one of these great cars soon!

Thanks, Rich

Yes the 1998 Firebird Formula is a good car especially because they come with an LS1 engine. I just bought a dark blue 1998 Firebird Fomula with 114,000 miles for $5,600 and it looks inside/out and runs good. Those LS1 engines are built to last long. How much is the formula you want to buy?

The only thing I would be cautious about is if it an auto. No matter what people say the cars are never babied. People get fast cars for a reason, to go fast and beat on them. That many miles... Auto are expensive to replace. Just food for thought.

Yeah kinda but unless the torque managment was tuned out I wouldent be too concerned about it but you you can get it rebuilt which weather its a auto or a manual with that many miles its going to need some TLC.

that car look nice to me !
