get a stall first?
which will make me faster on the 1/4 mile the cam or stall ?
sooner or later i will have both, but i want the one that will make me fast on strip now. i will be getting a 3200 stall or a 228R cam tuned which will give me better 1/4 mile time??

I plan to get a 3200 stall or TSP 228R cam/tuned.
say i run a best 13.0 flat right now, which of those mentioned above will get me closer to 12sec. down the strip
Hope i didnt get off topic, but just giving you an idea on what it will cost.
If you get the cam first then you're car will lose all it's nuts and it'll feel like it wouldn't pull a greased string out of a cats ***.. True for A4's, M6's less so I believe..
Since the 1/4 is in your mix, I would suggest, at a minimum, a 3600 (cam or no cam). The Yank SS series converts are really nice and have a tendancy to drive like they are less of a stall than they are. Although I don't DD mine, I would not be affraid to drive a SS4000. I know several guys who've gone 12.2X with a 3600 and full exhaust (full weight).
Just remember, it's always cheaper if you get it right the first time.
Good luck!

I think you'll be the happiest with a Yank SS3600.

It's $675 but well worth the money.
Keep in mind though you will lose 1-3 mpg if you do a lot of city driving. On the freeway it will be the same as before.

I got a PT4000, but I found someone selling it (brand new) for the same $$ as the SS3600 so I got it to see what a 4000+ would be like. I came from a Fuddle 3400 2.1 so I knew what I was in for.
