A T-rex cam will not clear on stock compression with valves any bigger than stock, so you have to get Patriot stage 1's and even then, those are lower CC 243's AND decked 1cc for straightness so you may have problems anyway.

L92 heads will not fit on an ls1 or ls6.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at getting the L92 head/intake kit from SLP.
So i can just run the Trex with stock heads and rockers?

Yeah unless you are running over a 4 inch bore, the L92 heads and intake won't work so throw that idea out.

Yes you can run the trex with stock heads and rockers but upgrading valve springs is a must. It's actually a must with any cam outside of a small gm hotcam. I'd also upgrade pushrods, since you'll have to rev the Trex cam to 7000rpm+ to make full use of it, and the stock ones bend pretty easy up there.

Yeah i got the cam kit, with timing chain, springs, locks, pushrods, i also got a new set of lifters and a upper gasket ket(head, cam, intake gaskets). Should i also upgrade to a better oil pump? car has 118k on it.

cheap insurance since you're already in there, I did the upgrade on the oil pump.
