Default where does this tube connect to?

the tube in ? connects to the pass. side head and goe's behind the manifold I'm thinking this tube connects to the back of the manifold?

it's been about a year since I did my manifold swap so I can't remember if it do'es go to the back of the manifold think I slid the manifold out a little then dissconnected it from the back then removed the mani.

reason I'm asking is because I broke this plastic connector connecting the large tube w/ the small tube an just spliced it together w/ a brass fitting it was really hard to tighten down the hose clamps because it's so far back under the cowl.

I'm suspecting this tube leaking entering unmetered air into motor causeing a p0300 code.

I'm wanting to remove this tube so I can tape it up w/ some expensive tape

a replacement tube from GM is about $200.

will I have to slid out the mani to remove this tube and not mess up the sensor behind mani. ?

Thanks

That tube goes to a Y at the back of the manifold, also connected to that Y is the tube that goes to the PCV valve and the tube that connects to the other valve cover. I took the attached pic for something else but you can see the Y in it.

thats part of your PCV system. it curvs around the back of the manifold and goes to a rubber Y connector. part of that y goes to the rear driver side valve cover and the other tube runs back to the front of the engine to the intake.

Default big tube

I felt this big tube behind the mani. apparntely it is only big just before the Y covered w/ more tubeing for heat protection.

so it only connects the 2 heads together doe'st connect to the back of the mani?

I don't see it going back into the PCV mine is a 99 TA WS6 I have this big tube going into a smaller tube then into the rear of Pass. head.

Thanks

I just wanted to chime in and mention that it's "does," not "doe's." Doe's is like what Homer Simpsons says multiple time or like "the doe's hooves were black" or whatever.

Default tube

I had to splice it just before it goe's into the pass. head. I'll snap a image later.

? if this splice has the slitest leak would it introduce unmetered air into the motor?

I'm having a p0300 code come and go.

Thanks

Yes it can let unmetered air into the engine. You could replace all the plastic hose with 3/8 fuel line and even find a brass Y to replace it all with. A tee will work also and might be easier to find.

No you aren't, you're a stupid ****. I've read way too many of your posts to believe your anything other than a <20 year old incompetent fool who works at Burger King. You have no intellectual capacity whatsoever and if you have even graduated HS there is no way you've made it through college, let alone actually landed a decent engineering job.

Good job making yourself look like an asshat again, you should reconsider the said *** in question. Is that your man lover in your avatar?
