Default having minor issues with traction control on 2000 Z28 m6

sometime when i start my car the traction control light (the one on the switch) illuminates as it should and i can turn it on and off as i please, but most of the time when i start my car the light only flashes one really fast time and then there is no more traction control nor does it do anything when i hit the ASR switch....just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem with thier car? lol i know typically people want the ACR not to work but i just want the car in 100% dealer shape........ maybe a possible module?
