Help please, NHRA trans am?
whats the difference with these trans ams? are they not looked highly upon? or are they just fine? im looking at buying one for real cheap, with low miles. But i dont know anything about them, so i dont want to buy one and find things out about them later. i only have a couple days left to find out, so help as soon as possible would be awesome, thanks

Quick search in the "Special Edition" and "Pontiac Firebird" sections revealed some good info, but this was what I gleamed from it:
NHRA Info
I own a Z28 so I'm not of much help, but I'm sure someone with one will chime in.

well i have a ws6 trans am, not a nhra one, wht year is the one u r lookin at? i know someone who owns a nhra firebird formula, and i think the only difference is different tires, 6 speeds came with a hurst, power steering cooling, and nhra badges, not to mention they are a little more rare than say a ws6, i think between 2000-2002 there were only like 1000 or so produced

If it's cheap with low miles and has a LS1, jump on it. If it's cheap enough, you could just keep it stock with low miles and treat it as an investment, then get another ta to mod. I bet it'd be worth some money in the future, with only 1000 being produced. Just get some certs.
