My pops bought a 1998 Z28 brand new in late 97 with under 10 miles on it. On my 15th birthday he says "son its time you learn how to drive" and i proceeded to learn to drive on a 6 speed 300+hp monster in the MOST HILLY neighborhood in PA. Clutch smoke everywhere, burnout lines covering the ground, constant stalling, father yelling in my face from the drivers seat, it was pretty fun. About a week later i got the hang of it, and then at 16 got a 96 maxima as my first car. over the next 3 years i saved up my money and started dumping it into the camaro, even though it wasnt mine. by 18 i had over 5k into the car, taking it from bone stock to full bolt on with nearly full suspension. Then he said "i'm getting an M3, you drive it more than i do, and you put enough money in it to by one, its yours" I'm now 21 and have been living the fbody dream End of story haha

In 1988 I bought a 1983 Trans AM for my first car; 305 4bbl with a 5-speed and a one-legger. Black with gold cloth, t-tops, and the gold chicken on the hood. That car was slower than all hell but got me more chicks than Frank Perdue.
Since I have owned a 2001 Z28 t-top M6 car (was my daily driver for 2 years before ex-wife talked me into a minivan) and the 2000 Z28 convertible M6 car that I have now. '01 was bone stock, '00 isn't going to stay that way...
