I bought the one from the WS6 store for $19 and it works great! I recommend getting something that is proven versus the unknown. Just my 0.02.

Just wondering, but why does it matter if it is "tacky" if it is under your car?

Yeah, I didn't want to do the resistor mod either, but never got around to buying an eliminator. One day, I decided to lift the car and give the resistor mod a try. Once neatly wrapped and tucked, I couldn't be happier.

There is nothing wrong with doing the resistor mod.
I did mine and my Dads car almost 10 years ago and we've never had a problem.

Get a tune and have it removed.

It looks legit to answer your question.

I don't like their idea though. The purpose of the end to end style is to deceive that there is a "moddification" done and to protect the soleniod side connector from dirt and the elements so it can be reconnected at any time.

It's skip shift..seriously why even spend the money? I think I've actually had to skip shift 2 or 3 times since I bought the car.

I did the resistor.....tacky or not, it serves the same purpose but only costs 30 cents from Radio Shack. I tucked it up nice....can't even tell it's there

The slp eliminator continues the circuit to the transmission and computer. the one your looking at just cuts or blocks the circuit. both work fine.

Do the radio shack thing and just put a piece of tape over the female connector to protect it. Then later on, tune it out or spring for the "real deal" eliminator when you get mo money.

you must have used the wrong ohm or resistanace value. if you do it right, no ses light will come on.
