You'll have some power loss because it isn't as free flowing as the loudmouth, but you could always just put a cutout in there for when you want it loud.

from what a read (in a sticky) flowmaster is the worst catback (*restrictive*) for our LS motors...

Im not to worried about performance with it. Thats what the cutout will be for i just want it to sound good and not be to loud when the cutout is closed.

80 series flowmasters are a bad choice. The reason many f-body owners think flowmasters perform poorly is because the 80 series are the mufflers that come on the cat-backs for our cars. The 40 series mufflers sound good and flow pretty well. It would be a better choice and should be quieter than the LM

Go Magnaflow. I had headers, ory, LM, and cam (232/238) and it was obserdly loud and the magnaflow catback quieted it down a ton plus sounded awesome. JMO.

I think its pretty damn loud. I want something that not gonna draw so much attention to myself. I mean the car sticks out like a sore thumb anyways cause of the color. But i just want something thats gonna quieter..and like i said before the cutout will always just be a flip of a switch away

Just get a Borla XR1 (P/N# 40085) bullet muffler in place of the Loudmouth resonator (Borla-Mouth).

Peace,
Craig.
