I just bought my first bird, don't really know if people are even interested in what it has and all. It has everything i want pretty much, but i really would like to switch the shifter ****. I was wondering if anyone have anything on what they have, and how much they like it? I've been looking at WS6 Project and came upon one i liked alot, but I don't what the difference is with these two.

The first thing I did is yank the stock leather ball shifter out. I don't know if you have an automatic or manual. My manual was glued at the top of the lever. So I took a pipe wrench to it. I put a towel over the top so I wouldn't mess it up and gave it a real strong twist then it just popped right off. Giving it that much muscle made me nervous but it was necessary. I ended up with one of the pistol grip handle's I found at the local shop. It's really high in the air, but I still dig it. Makes me feel like I'm in a jet. Next stop short shifter.
