i am wanting to get an intake and have been looking at typhoon and bbks because u can get a typhoon with an intake for 579 bucks ...but i keep hearing that u dont want a aluminum intake because when they get hot they kill your power is this true???

IMO, In stop and go traffic you will notice a difference. But when your rippin on the throttle, how long do you think air is staying in the intake? Not long enough to heat it up if you ask me. I may be wrong on this and im sure somone will have their opinon about it too. Just my .02
