Default induction setup...help me decide

hey all, i need help planning out my induction setup. so far, im planning on getting a TSP lid, k&N filter, SSRA, and i already got a smoothe bellows (fernco ). my question is on the MAF, should i get ported ends or no? what about decreening it, ive heard mixed reviews about this. i will be doing longtubes/true-duals at the same time so im expecting the car to run a bit rich. what should i do about the MAF? port, descreen, both, neither, aftermarket? thanks for the help!

btw, this is all going into an 01 Z28

The stock MAF is good. Save that money for something like a cut-out (and install). By the way, I shot ya a PM.

I would probably skip the MAF and use the $$$ toward something else. The cost of a new MAF would cover ~1/3 of the cost of a Predator tuner or LS1edit

Like the others said... Save the cash for something else.

Descreening the MAF is fine, but don't bother with home porting or ported ends. Adding longtubes will more than likely make you run lean, not rich. Porting the MAF will end up making your a/f ratio even leaner. Might wanna think about a MAFT.

I would ditch the K&N filter for a Holley. Much better fitment and quality.
