Default Sleeper Q

Okay, I have a 99 T/A, and since I want to try and get a sleeper, I want to see what I could do to quiet the engine down. What can I do to make my car quieter without sacrificing performance?

Well, my car has a custom exhaust that barely passed inspection, but wouldn't adding a muffler restrict air flow?

Not a good free flowing muffler. i mean it will compared to open exhaust. but u have to sacrifise a little if you want it quiet. i doubt you will be able to fell a difference in power though
