Default emblem peeling away... how to fix or remove?

99 FRC Corvette...

The C5 Corvette flags emblem (some kind of plastic?) on the top center of the front bumper is starting the peel away. One corner doesn't stay down anymore.

What's the best away to fix this?
Is this a common issue? This is a garaged car, but it has been over 100 degrees here lately. Is heat what causes these to lift up?

If I wanted to just completely remove it, what's the best away of removing it and cleaning up any left-over residue?

Thanks.

yea heat is a major factor, it causes the glue to lose its stickiness. to get rid of it you'll need a heat gun.

Fishing line and some adhesive remover. Heat gun could help too but it's not exactly necessary.
