Default SS feels held back

when i drive the the SS(99) hard it feels like its being held back, its loud but feels like its not moving as fast as it should . car is stock and has 111,000. iv changed the spark plugs, oil, tranny fluid, fuel filter, pcv valve, and sea foamed it (sea foam in gas tank ,engine , intake) has anyone had this problem ? would changing the diff fluid help ?

you are not going to notice any difference by changing the fluid in the rear thats for sure

what exhaust? how long have you had it? do you mean less fast than normal or not as fast as you hoped (you just bought it)

cause I've never been in a stock ls1 fbody that felt fast, they're faster cars than they feel

Do you have cats on the car? If so it could be clogged cats

If you still have the stock air lid change to an aftermarket one that flows better. And a good quality air filter.

Get it on the track, then you will know if its actually being held back or if the car is as fast as it should be.

Did you sea foam it before you did all the maintenance?
