Default Mac Longubes or Pacesetters

I cant really decide. I decide to scrape some cash together for some long tube headers and a Y pipe. And these are the cheapest I found.

About 500 Bucks for the whole thing, Y pipe and all.

The only big difference I see between the 2, is that the Pacesetter have a longer design to them before they hit the collector.

I just found BBK's are even cheaper(370 for the complete thing).

They look real nice too.

If your going with a cat-less Y, i strongly suggest you get a custom y-pipe with a flowmaster merge made, the ORY i bought makes for massive rasp and now im caught spending more money to have a custom one made. I have pacesetter LT's, and a magnaflow cat-back like you have, so chances are you will have the same hammering rasp noise like I do on WOT 2-3k rpm if you get LT's and a ORY.

I don't think I will mind the rasp. The only thing I am worried about is who will weld this **** up.

Since everything will be cat-less it is not really legal.

I do want to go with a premade Y. I think it will hold up the best, at least I think it will.

Did all of your stuff fit together well? Did the Y pipe fit right to the MagnaFlow cat back?

Its not like rasp that u might be thinking of.. its like you got a freaking jackhammer going off when above 50% throttle and 2-3k rpm. Its a very emberresing sound, I bearly take my car over 2k rpm... i guess it helps me save on gas. Idk maybe its just my car.
Fitment was good for all the parts. It fit right into the magnaflow cat-back just fine. Its just that 2-3k rpm rasp that I dont like.

I just want everything to fit fairly well together so I dont need a shop. I will get a few spot welds on it later, but clamps need work for while.
