Throw out bearing noise

Throw out bearing noise I was looking at a 99 z28 that a member here has for sale and he mentioned a noise that I could faintly hear.
It sounded like a light clicking or clacking sound that was very faint.
It could be heard even when the car was just sitting there and idling with out the clutch engaged.
The owner said it was a loose throw out bearing...
Does this sound like the case? I've got no clue myself.
