HPP3, what is it?

HPP3, what is it? I have noticed some peoples mods include an HPP3, and I have no idea what it is. Can someone inform me as to what it does, where to get, the cost, and recomendations on if it is a decent mod.

Re: HPP3, what is it? it's a crappy programmer... an expensive fan switch if you have an M6 ... their power tuning is hit or miss... all it does is copy the the high octane tables to the low octane tables (which can be bad! if you ever have a scenario where you're getting real knock, the PCM will switch to low timing tables to save the motor... but w/HPP3 programming it will still run higher timing)
ALso it evens out the timing curve (stock tuning has a dip around peak torque but then goes back up)
Also it leans out your fuel mixture a tad, which on some cars that come running on the break point of lean/good from the factory, can cause detonation...
From what I've seen the predator is a much better alternative ... and ls1 edit is the best option but most expensive (and requires you have a laptop to connect to the car)

Re: HPP3, what is it? Yeah I agree, I got the damn thing but I don't use the power program since I got a NOS. Still use it for shift points and other things.
