Yeah, I found it on Autotrader. It was up for sale for a month or longer until I picked it up! Not perfect but it is rare and only has 77,000 miles on it. Just wanted something different from all the regular colors out there.

That's my favorite color. Good find! You pretty much just need some wheels and a drop to make it look ridiculously clean lol.

FWIW, there's a guy in Austin that has one of those and said he heard that only 1.9% of Camaro's (including v6's) came in that color. I think it only came on 99's too. Crazy

Yeah, '99 was the only year for this color. I think only around 1100 were made that year including the v6's. I have American Racing Longboard wheels on it now with my clear markers. I do need to lower it a bit. In about a week or so it should have a edge 3600 tc, transgo HD 2 shift kit, motive 3.73's, trick flow deeper tranny pan, tci tranny cooler, 160* thermo, and full exhaust system from Hooker. It should run low 8's in the 1/8th no problem w/ the proper tune. Tim from Redline Performance in St. Louis will be tuning it. Everything else on the car is stock. The suspension, intake, air box, heads, cam, pulley, and waterpump is all stock. I do have Comp T/A drag radials but that is it. No power adders or N20. I am trying to get it ready for LSX shootout. My buddies and I will be driving from Sikeston, MO down to Memphis, TN. We are just going to watch and have fun on the street. We are not entering any of our cars in the main event. Anyways glad everyone seems to like my car and the color so far. Keep the replies coming. Thanks!

Low 8's in the 1/8th mile my ***!

Mine (with roughly those same mods) runs CONSISTENT 7.70s/7.80s in the 1/8th with a fairly generic tune....not to mention it's a stock long block with over 157K miles on it! You'll be truly shocked at how strong it'll run with those mods done to it.

I think you were talking to me. Yeah, I think it was like 1.6 or 1.7% THAT YEAR ONLY and translated to about 1100 cars as the OP said. That 1100 number includes V6's.

Luckily I found mine back in 2003 with no body kit (personally not a fan of it), although there is a guy with a BBM V6 car who works down the street from my house and his has the dang body kit. Mine is also super rare as it is a stripper car.

Here's a pic of mine taken just yesterday.

That is sweet *** ride you got there. Is it a a4 or m6? Very nice find without the ground effects and being a 1SC car. SUPER RARE! My buddy has a 2000 Mystic Teal z28 with the 1SC package. Awesome car man!

So I guess your saying watch out hmm? High 7's is very possible? My tune will coming from Tim at Redline Performance in St. Louis. That makes me feel better!

Thanks man. Congrats on picking up yours!

It's an M6. Only 2 options on the entire car: PS cooler and single CD Monsoon. Nothing else. No rear defrost, no fog lights, no cruise, power nothing. If I want to pop the hatch I have to get out and walk to the back with the key.

If I had to guess I bet you have one the rarest cars around. Do you have anything done to it or is it stock? Very clean car.

It has a lot of bolt-ons. However, nothing that is irreversible and I have kept nearly all of the stock parts. Have not done any welding and the only cutting was a tiny notch on the K-member for the longtubes to fit better.

Good looking color and cars guys. The RS style body kit never did it for me. I much prefer them without.

Yeah, I know I wish the RS Kit wasnt put on their from the factory but will not take off b/c too many holes! I will take it off when I repaint it.
